Check out this short tilt-shift time-lapse film featuring the city of Melbourne by  Nathan Kaso. This piece is 10 months in the making and features a range of different events and festivals held in the city throughout the year.

Fotoshop LOL

Filmmaker Jesse Rosten made this great parody ad for "Fotoshop".
Rosten says, “I was watching TV one sleepless night and stumbled upon an infomercial for some beauty product. The commercial showed before and after portraits, that to my eye, looked like the same photo just photoshopped. I laughed to myself. Then I made this video.”
The commercial isn’t real and neither are society’s standards of beauty.
You should probably watch the video before Adobe's lawyers send the inevitable cease-and-desist!

COOL, I think i just found my birthday present, lol!
The Inkling digital sketch pen captures a digital likeness of your work while you sketch with its ballpoint tip on any sketchbook or standard piece of paper.
In addition to capturing your sketch, stroke by stroke, Inkling allows you to create layers in digital files while you sketch on paper. Digital files are transferred to your computer using the Inkling Sketch Manager software, and later, exported to applications such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
For US$199 its a definite must have I think. Out mid-September.

I first posted about Andrzej Dragan a couple years back when I was looking for Photoshop effect plug-ins and found one called the Dragan Effect. He became known for using a special type of saturation, colour and lighting in his works and this has helped him to stand out as a photographer and continue to make really unique photos....

World's Worst Photoshopped Photo

I know there are many photos out there that could take this title, but this image takes it because it was just totally unnecessary!!


The picture, which appears on the Huili County Government website shows three local officials inspecting a newly completed highway in China's Sichuan province but the men appear to hovering several centimetres above the tarmac.
What's astonishing about the poor display of picture editing is that it happened at all. Other photos show the men did visit the road and on the same day. And yes, the road was even completed. But for some unknown reason the photographer decided to ditch the original photos and go for a doctored picture instead.
