Ukadapta May 09 Update

I met with Chaz and Bob of The London Police a few hours prior to the opening of their newest show in London, entitled ''10 Years On The Circle Line''. I first met Chaz in Barcelona in 2004 and the title of the show made me realize just how far they have come over the years. Clocking up more airmiles than you and I put together, Chaz has traveled the world, doing shows and live drawings everywhere. With the recent return of Bob to the team, I knew that something special had to be on the horizon for them.

Award winning artist and designer Anthony Roussel is definitely creating a buzz in the jewellery world with his intricate sculptural jewellery. Born and educated in London, Anthony has degrees in both Jewellery Design and Fine Art and opened his studio in the summer of 2007. Working primarily with wood, Roussel combines modern technologies with handcraft to create pieces connected with contemporary architecture, whilst at the same time completely subverting the traditional notion of using precious materials to make jewellery.
