Adidas X Google Talking Shoe

Using an accelerometer, a gyroscope, Bluetooth and some other off the shelf technologies, the Talking Shoe translates the wearer’s movements into funny, motivating and timely commentary. Jack Stocker Illustrates Sneakers
Jack Stocker illustrates Nike sneakers throughout the ages. The 18-year old illustrator undertook the project as his final university assignment (yup, he's still studying) and decided to replicate the colours of the iconic sneakers from the late '80s and early '90s.
Using simple coloured paper Stocker constructed the silhouettes of the shoes, including the 1987 Air Line max, 1989 Air Pressure and the 1990 Nike Air Factor.

Nike Air Mags Back To the Future
Is it really possible? Nike have released this teaser video with the intention of unveiling it today in Los Angeles!!! NiceKicks was invited to L.A. to be at the secretive launch and check out what he received when he got there in his words:
"When Nike gives you a call at midnight, you know it’s something good. With just a few hours notice Nike flew me out to LA for “a big announcement.” When they won’t tell you what it is until you get there, you know it’s something bigger than a new colorway of Dunks."
“Welcome to Los Angeles. If my calculations are correct, over the next 24 hours you are about to see some SERIOUS SH*T!”
"Inside the box was an invite from to “IT’S ABOUT TIME…an unveiling that could change the course of time” as well as metal shield glasses. The table of goodies that included mid 80′s candy, Throwback Pepsi (forumla from 1985), and a copy of Back To The Future all but confirmed the suspicions."

2000 Pairs Of Nike in 11 Minutes
This guy and his sneaker collection at the SHOEZEUM is the most disgustingly comprehensive collections of Nikes that I have ever witnessed. Amazed and horrified all at the same time.
Thanks to Adriana Wong for the heads up.

David Bray Show 2011
This show is one not to miss! One love to the Bray....
'Great Disasters of the 20th Century'
By David Bray
04.02.11 - 27.02.11
Bray creates delicate and time-consuming drawings which explore emotion, utopia and a world of fantasy through his subject matter of the beautiful and erotic, but the unnatainable female form.
In his upcoming new solo show Bray is inspired by the record ‘Great Disasters of the Twentieth Century’ by Georg Lubitzer, on which there is a track called 70 days. “This track inspired me to do a drawing a day for 70 days, whatever style or content of that particular drawing dictated the style or content of the larger drawings - which evolved over the same period of time. Each drawing has a variety of mark making styles within it. The record details the occult, Egyptology, loss, magic and the supernatural - and i have tried to reflect that in the work”
