Predator Bad Blood Figure
Finally, a bad ass Predator figure that hunts other Predators. Check out the numerous Predator skulls, decapitated Predator head, and dead Predator adorning this guy. Created by Sideshow Collectibles, the paint job and detailing look superb, and the figure stands over 18" tall....

AJ Fosik Wood Sculptures
AJ Fosik was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. In 2003, he received a BFA in Illustration from Parsons School of Design in New York. In the years since, Fosik has lived in various cities across the country including Denver, Brooklyn and Philadelphia. He is currently based in Portland, Oregon.
Fosik’s artwork explores the powerful medium of language and metaphor to emphasize narrative and interpretation. Using wood and found materials, he creates figural, eclectic and intricately designed three-dimensional works that intrigue and provoke.
Fosik’s animal subjects and anthropomorphized beings are built using a complex process in which each form is carefully handcrafted by arranging hundreds of pieces of individually cut and varnished wood, which the artist paints in vibrant colors and patterns.

Great White Shark Vs Kayak
When this photograph was first published in Africa Geographic, BBC Wildlife and later in Paris Match and the Daily Mail (London) it resulted in a flurry of e-mails, phone calls and letters from around the world asking if the image was a fake. The image became the most talked about of shark photograph ever.
The photograph is real, no photoshop, no digital manipulation, no nothing, in fact it was shot on slide film Fuji Provia 100 using a Nikon F5 Camera and 17-35 mm lens. by Thomas Peschak...

Leptocephalus Is An Eel Larva
This large size leptocephalus must be a species of Muraenidae (moray eels), and probably the larva of a long thin ribbon eel, which is metamorphosing, not feeding, and is entering shallow water to finish metamorphosis into a young eel. Leptocephali are the unusual transparent larvae of eels and their close relatives. Because they are transparent they are so hard to spot and are hardly ever sighted.....awesome!

Chris Ryniak Paintings
Chris Ryniak's uber-cute dark imagery strikes a chord with me. Not only is he a great painter/illustrator, but he also does an amazing job when customising toys too...
