Eyewitnesses watched a fiery ball fall from the sky and smash into the remote Andean plain near the Bolivian border on Saturday, local media reported.
The crater left by the object is 65ft wide and 20ft deep When villagers went to investigate, they encountered fetid, noxious gases, according to local health officials.
Jorge Lopez, director of the health department in the southern state of Puno, 800 miles south of Lima, said at least 200 people had become ill after inhaling "toxic" fumes emanating from the resulting crater.
It [the object] is buried in the earth," local resident Heber Mamani told the BBC.
"That is why we are asking for an analysis because we are worried for our people. They are afraid. A bull is dead and some other animals are already sick," he said.
Three geologists from Peru's Geophysics Institute are on their way to the site to determine whether it was, in fact, a meteorite, and are expected to present a report on the incident on Thursday.
Sounds scary to me! It's like War Of The Worlds and Independence rolled into one. I just hope that on Thursday, they tell us it was just a cow that exploded due to an overload of methane gas and that's why everyone's feeling sick.

David Hanson, a robotics engineer has unveiled his creation that he has spent the last five yearson; Zeno, which also happens to be the name of Hanson's 18-month-old son. Pinnochio, inventor's son, marionette freaky freaky.......(Watch the video above to see how realistic this little devil looks)
A 6lb. 17" tall artificial person with an expressive face covered in something Hanson calls "frubber," Zeno was designed for edutainment purposes: conversation and emotional responses. Hanson proudly told the AP:
"It's a representation of robotics as a character animation medium, one that is intelligent. It sees you and recognizes your face. It learns your name and can build a relationship with you." This was my own version of ED-209 using Exo-Force parts.
I had the mad experience this weekend of seeing 3,000 bikers from all over Europe converge outside my front door and ride together as a show of solidarity for the shot biker Gerry Tobin on 12 August. The funeral procession took about 45 minutes to pass by my flat and ended up on the other side of town in Mortlake Cemetary. There were MC's (Motorcycle Clubs) from Berlin, Essen, Holland, Sweden, Norway and even Bohemia! Although there were a fair few Crews, the main one by far was the Hells Angels Chapter. It was crazy to see so much hair in all the wrong places as well plenty of sunglasses and tattoos. They may be slightly dodgy, but they know how to look after their Brothers! R.I.P. Gerry Tobin.........
So far, 3 men have been charged with the murder of Gerry Tobin and are awaiting trial.

The Vampire Hunter D movies were adapted from the novels by Hideyuki Kikuchi; the original was released in 1985 and was one of the first anime to be released outside of Japan. Although the animation is of the old style as in there is not a lot of detail in the characters expressions; the plot is simple like that out of an old western. Where the lone hero rides into town and the lead female needs saving, then she inevitably falls in love with the hero, the hero has some sort of inner turmoil and can not love. Despite the simplicity of the plot and the old fashion drawing, this movie is still a hit and to this day remains a cult movie.
Bloodlust was released in 2000 and was written and directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri (who was also responsible for Ninja scroll) and was based on the third novel, the plot is more complex, “D” even has competition from other vampire hunters. The animation design and the detail are much better than the first, showing how far anime and the techniques used have come since 1985. And you would expect nothing less from Yoshiaki Kawajiri. All in all Bloodlust, though a good movie in its own right tends to be, as unfortunately happens sometimes when one anime is made off the back of its predecessors success, more a showcase of the animation crews abilities and as such lacks the dark atmosphere that the original had in abundance.
The old vs. new debate which one is better I would say the old is better in this instance. Now don’t roll your eyes and say I knew you were going to say that; there is ‘new’ anime out there that does surpass the original hands down, but this time is not the case. I would recommend that you definitely watch the original and if you have some free time to enjoy good anime artistry I would recommend watching Bloodlust because it is a good movie. So for all of you out there that pass over old anime just because its old; new is not always better you really should give the old ones a chance as they just might surprise you.
Sorry for the lack of posts in the last couple days but the weather in the UK has been good and that hasn't happened for pretty much the whole summer! Anyways, my mrs. put me onto this 29 year-old photographer from Poland called Andrzej Dragan.
I love his dark, highly detailed fairy tale portraits of people who you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley. The details of the faces are so prominet with every imperfection shown.
Having graduated from university, then decided to get a PhD in Quantum Physics degree, (WTF?!)he then went on to start making music! He has only been taking photography seriously since 2003 which blew my mind away too! His website design is also impressive and I am definitely keeping my eye out on this guy for the future.......

Recently, a massive tag was done very near my place with what looked to be a fire extinguisher. Now I know this type of graffiti isn't new, but I wanted to look into it more and find out how these guys are doing it. Lo and behold, the mighty internet showed me how to make my own tool and so I thought I'd share it with you.
A guy on Instructables known as Katsuteacheskids shows us how to make one using a fire extinguisher he obviously steals from schools/indusrial buildings.
The interesting thing was that by the end of the tutorial, I became more interested in all the different kinds of comments left on Katsu's page. You had kids saying that he was dope and you had ex police officers saying that he's a fool. The age-old debate of "Is graffiti an art-form or vandalism?" came up so many times and it just goes to show that there will never be a straight answer for this question and that it will be debated until humans eventually go extinct. Long Live Graffiti!
