Jeff Antebi Haiti 17 Stolenspace Show

Haitian Earthquake Appeal
Jeff Antebi is a noted war photographer with extremely close ties to the Haitian people.

StolenSpace has teamed up with Jeff to make many of his previously unavailable Haiti photos available as limited edition prints, with proceeds going to help several worthy relief agencies after the devistating earthquake.

Each print will be signed, numbered and limited to 1 of only 150.

In Jeff's owns words:

"To get a sense of my experience in Haiti, a very positive one, please read my essay from NPR here http://ow.ly/Wtnr

I went to Haiti twice in 2009. As recently as 6 months ago. Once to photograph the elections and once to spend time photographing portraits in Cite Soleil, one of the worst slums in the Western Hemisphere. On both occasions, I found the spirit and humour of Haitian people to be immeasurable, even in the face of such daunting living conditions.

What's happening there right now, after this earthquake, is one of the most dire humanitarian catastrophes in decades. Requiring urgent and immediate care. Whatever ones personal moral and philosophical perspective might be, it never hurts to help people who are in need of clean water and medicine.

Doctors Without Borders and Oxfam are the charities that we have chosen to benefit from the sale of each print. I have been working with both for many many years."
